About Susan Hauser: Recognized last year by Lululemon as a 2012 Ambassador. Susan was recently voted “Best Yoga in Marin” by Marin Magazine. She teaches a fast paced, dynamic flow, focusing on toning, strengthening and stretching, while bringing greater clarity, control and peace to one’s emotional state of mind. Her class is all levels, but geared toward athletes. Susan’s class has the feel of an amazing workout of challenging yoga poses that are set to an incredible motivating music. She studied with Baron Baptise and completed her teacher training in Baptise power Vinyasa. She furthered her education and studied anatomy, physiology, methodology, sequencing and ethics completing Yoga Tree’s yoga alliance training 2011.
About Alison Smith: In her classes, there are flowing postures – like Sun Salutations – that allow you to warm up and connect with your breath, combined with static postures and longer holds to build strength and increase flexibility. During class, you’ll receive clear and precise instructions so you can refine and advance your practice. Classes are invigorating and challenging with special emphasis on alignment and education, so you develop a safe, sustainable, and empowering practice that will last for a lifetime. Alison’s practice and perspective of yoga is deeply rooted in the Anusara style. She stays inspired by studying regularly with Desiree Rumbaugh and Noah Maze.
About Andrea Manitsas: Known for a Bhakti-filled class with a whole lotta soul and a fierce flow. She warmly invites students on a sacred journey through her unique expression of the Vinyasa flow that is dreamy and dancey while also being smart and intentional. Recognized as a Lululemon ambassador in Berkeley, her classes have become synonymous with her love of chanting and her want for connectedness. From the sweet song she learned while chanting with Jai Uttal to the cosmic dance of her Laughing Lotus teacher Jasmine Tarkeshi, from the sumptuous flow she fell for with Janet Stone to the intelligent alignment of Jason Crandell, Andrea connects an ever-growing well of experience with impressive music and book libraries to inspire bodies to move and minds to still.
About Daria Gershman: Certified in several yoga disciplines and dance. Her yoga training includes Ashtanga, Kundalini and children’s yoga. She has taught kid’s yoga at the Belvedere Recreation Center, Ring Mountain Day School and various yoga studios. She believes in nurturing kid’s bodies as well as their minds in yoga poses, breathing, child inspired meditation, music and movement.
