Join us for the Grand Opening celebration of Homeward Bound's Jonathan's Place (formerly Mill Street Center)
Public event includes tours, music and ribbon-cutting for new shelter and housing building
Homeward Bound of Marin will hold a Grand Opening celebration for its new shelter and housing building from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25. The event is open to the public and will include tours, speakers and a ribbon-cutting, music and refreshments.
Formerly known as Mill Street Center, the redeveloped site at 190 Mill St. in San Rafael will be renamed “Jonathan’s Place” to honor a special donor’s son, who experienced homelessness in Marin.
All parking for the event will be at 100 Yacht Club Drive in San Rafael (the former Terrapin Crossroads restaurant) with free shuttle service for 1/2 mile to the new building.
