    Top Marin Chefs to Compete for People’s Choice, Judges’ Awards
    to Support Families and Children at CIP’s Loving Spoonfuls Challenge!
     
    Come and cast your votes at CIP’s Loving Spoonfuls: Marin’s Appetizer, Soup and Dessert Challenge, where youget to be a judge onSaturday, January 26, from 12 noon to 3 pm at the Mill Valley Community Center (180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley)! Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door; children under 12 are free. Proceeds support Community Institute for Psychotherapy’s sliding scale mental health services for families, adults, and children. Celebrated Bay Area film critic Jan Wahl  will be emcee.     Challengers vying for this year’s awards will be A Piece of Cake & Confections; Brayton Purcell, LLP; Bayside Marin; Frantoio; Gira Polli; The Hummingbird Café; L’Appart Resto; Left Bank; Marin Joe’s; Saylor’s Restaurant & Bar; the Tavern at Lark Creek; Tiburon Tavern; and Vin Antico. 
    All will be in competition in two awards categories, the People’s Choice and Expert Judges awards. This year’s foodie experts will be Anna Haight (Marin IJ Bread & Butter Columnist, and founder of AnnasCoolFinds.com), David Haydon (Owner& Chef, Il Davide restaurant & past Loving Spoonfuls winner), and Leslie Harlib (Restaurant Review Critic).
