• City Offers 1:1 Virtual Meetings with Community Development Department

    City projects come in all shapes and sizes and our Community Development Department knows that some projects benefit from more than a series of emails and phone calls, so they’ve launched a “Virtual Public Counter Hours” pilot to improve customer services to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The pilot will begin with scheduled one-on-one appointments between customers and City staff. While emails, phone call exchanges, and even Zoom meetings have provided continued communication with customers during this time, this pilot will offer interactive services in real time. A customer will be able to make an appointment during the scheduled virtual counter hours to guarantee them time to meet with Building, Planning and Public Works representatives.

    When scheduling an appointment, customers will respond to a series of questions to better prepare staff for each appointment. We look forward to meeting with you!
