    MCE wanted to pass along this news release from the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) highlighting the need for energy conservation and the possibility of a Flex Alert being triggered for this Wednesday and Thursday, June 16th-17th. 
     
    Please be advised, starting Wednesday, June 16 through Thursday June 17 between 4pm-9pm the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) has highlighted the need for energy conservation and to prepare for a potential Flex Alert due to extreme heat. CAISO News Release.
     
    A Flex Alert is a call for voluntary conserving of electricity when there is an anticipated high energy demand.
