Name: Author Todd Crawshaw at Book Passage Corte Madera
    Date: August 13, 2022
    Event Description:

On Saturday, August 13, at 11:00 am, I will be at the BookPassage in Corte Madera talking about my latest novel and reading excerpts from The Center’s Edge Revisited. I will also talk briefly about Portrait of a Rainbow as a Young Man: aka Doberman’s Angel, my novel published just before the pandemic shut down the bookstores. This Left Coast Writers is a free event. So, if you happen to be in the San Francisco Bay Area and available, stop by and say hello, have a glass of wine (after or before the morning talk), and listen to how these strange tales came to be.

I describe The Center’s Edge Revisited as a twilight-zone saga about the universe as a spiral, depicting repetitive behavior historically – acts of kindness, abuses of power – the light and dark of humanity evolving toward a meaning of life beyond death. A story in which polar-opposite individuals become reincarnated through four periods in time: at the dawning of civilization, the rise of the Roman Empire, the decline of democracy in the USA, and a future quest by astronauts to discover extraterrestrial life.
