    Event Description:

    The 2020 State of the City Dinner, featuring The Best of San Rafael (sample light bites, craft beer and wine from our amazing Chamber member caterers and restaurants!), is the premier event of the year for networking with your fellow business, government and nonprofit leaders in Marin County.  This year the Chamber is celebrating our 100th birthday, so we have many reasons to celebrate this amazing community in which we work, live and play!



    2020 Business of the Year Awards
    We are honored to once again recognize local business, government and civic leaders who have gone above and beyond in their service to San Rafael and Marin.  Awards will be given in the following categories: 

    • Small Business (less than 25 employees) - submit your nomination here!
    • Large Business (25 employees or more) - submit your nomination here!
    • Joe Garbarino Small Green Business (less than 25 employees) - submit your nomination here!
    • Joe Garbarino Large Green Business (25 employees or more) - submit your nomination here!

    All nominees receive promotion on the Chamber's website and social media pages, as well as at the 2020 State of the City Dinner.

    We will also recognize the City of San Rafael Employee of the Year and the Citizen of the Year.



    This event also features Mayor Gary Phillips' 'State of the City Address'. This is your opportunity to get up to speed on the latest developments in San Rafael and to get valuable information about the state of our community.

    • Wine and food are both included in the event ticket price, no-host cocktails will be available as well.
