    Professional Experience: For 30+ years, Jessica, local, raised in Marin, has sold, leased, managed, planned, developed, designed, and constructed, high-end residential and multi-family properties throughout Marin and Sonoma. 

    Jessica’s business model is unique as a One-Stop-Shop.

    • Sales: Sold over $21 million dollars in residential and multi-family apartment buildings.
    • Property Management: Leases and Manages single & multi-family properties in Marin/Sonoma.
    • Design-Build Construction: Directs her team of 3 local General Contractors & an Architect, to design, remodel or expand residential, multi-family, or commercial properties, whether for resale, rental, or purely aesthetic reasons.
    • Construction Project Management services: Resolves City or County Code violations, cleans up deteriorated properties & renovates rentals for quick turn-around.

    Accomplishments/Community Service: Watching Marin change over the years from the carefree days of the 60’s and 70’s, prompted Jessica to get involved in her local community. Jessica is an officer at the Elks Club and co-Vice President of Membership for MRWF.

    Personal Information: Pre-Med, Bachelors Art History from Dominican, Masters Information Science & Juris Doctorate from San Francisco Law School. After college, Jessica ran her architect father’s 50-man architectural and interior design firm’s offices in San Francisco for 10 years. She also was a Purser in the Merchant Marines; Office Manager/Bookkeeper for an international VOIP software firm; Land Use Planner for an engineering firm; Researcher/Developer of Environmental Impact Reports; and Corporate Event Planner. Jessica and her husband have remodeled and built many homes in Marin from the ground-up for themselves, as well as clients. Her two boys were raised in Marin and her husband is a licensed Marin General Contractor of 35+ years.

  • Professional Experience

    Troy worked 30+ years for the City & County of San Francisco Juvenile Justice Center before retiring August 2018. The positions he held were Counselor, Supervisor, Training Officer, and Hearing Officer. He started a security company, JT Executive Protection, in January 2000. His company continues to provide security within the 9 Bay Area Counties. He is a member of several business organizations.

    Accomplishments/Community Service

    Troy is a graduate of Novato High School, College of Marin, San Jose State University, and Oakland College of Law. He coached Sausalito Little League for 8 years, and won a County Championship. As a member of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, he has been on The Ambassador Committee since 2016. On December 11, 2019, he was awarded San Rafael Chamber 2019 Ambassador of The Year.

    Troy lives in Sonoma County. He enjoys working out and attending professional sporting events.

    Professional Duties: Currently the Chief Financial Officer for EO Products, an all-natural consumer products manufacturer based in San Rafael

    Professional Experience: 25 years of experience helping companies operate more efficiently. Prior to EO, Steve was the Chief Financial Officer of Zocalo, an international furniture designer and wholesaler. He was the President of Start to Finish, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trek Bicycle Manufacturer where he successfully implemented a corporate turn-around. Steve also spent four years in international operations; two years with Premark International and two years with Fortune Brands. He began his career at Ernst and Young in Chicago.

    Accomplishments/Community Service: Member of the Rotary club of San Rafael and Member of Marin Forum

    Other Volunteer Activities: Past Board Treasurer for Nepal Youth Foundation; Current Board Member – Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership; Global volunteer experience: disaster relief work in the Philippines, development work in Kenya and teaching in Thailand.

    Personal Information: Fox received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University and has taken Executive Management classes at Harvard Business School. He holds a CPA license. On weekends, Fox can be found on the squash courts, the yoga mat, his vintage 1996 Trek carbon fiber or exploring the world with his two amazing sons Aidan and Carter.

    Professional Duties: We support companies of all sizes with temporary staffing and recruiting.

    Professional Experience: Debi has many years of experience working in staffing, account management, fundraising, teaching, writing, and community organizing. Debi graduated from San Francisco State with a BA in French Studies.

    Accomplishments/Community Service: Debi has served on many different boards and committees including: SR Chamber Ambassadors, SR Chamber Women of Industry, Corte Madera Chamber Board of Directors, JCHS Parent Association co-president, various projects at Congregation Rodef Sholom, BNI Leadership Team, Marin HR Forum Membership Chair, and more.

    Other Volunteer Activities: Debi has been a school volunteer wherever her children have attended school. She was involved in Girl Scouts and other community building events in Marin. Debi often speaks for associations and other groups.

    Personal Information: Debi lives in her hometown of San Rafael, where she was lucky enough to be able to raise her 2 daughters, who are 17 and 21. Debi loves the outdoors; hiking and walking her dog are favorite activities, as are cooking and being with friends.

    Professional Duties: Carol is responsible for internal and external communications programs including community and government relations, marketing, and media relations. 

    Professional Experience: Over 20+ years work experience in community relations, communications, and program development for various nonprofit organizations. She previously held positions with the Children’s Environmental Health Network and the American Diabetes Association, as well as worked in the field of real estate and urban economics consulting.

    Accomplishments/Community Service: Carol is a graduate of the San Rafael and Novato Leadership Institutes and is a past board member of the San Rafael Rotacare Free Clinic.

    Chamber of Commerce Role (Director, Committee work, etc.): Treasurer, Board of Director and member of the Government Affairs Committee.

    Personal Information: Carol grew up in San Rafael and now lives in Novato with her daughter. She enjoys the outdoors, biking and hiking, camping, and folk dancing.

  • Title: Owner/Project Manager

    Professional Duties: Robert manages the day to day operations of the San Rafael Airport. San Rafael Airport is a private general aviation airport housing 100 aircraft hangars and a small industrial park. In 2001-2004, Robert managed a complete Master Plan Renovation of the airport, including the installation of a 45 kilowatt rooftop solar project to provide renewable green power for airport operations. In October 2012 he completed Marin County’s largest solar project, which provides renewable power to Marin Clean Energy customers. He is currently working on a LEED Gold certified community sports facility to be located at San Rafael Airport.

    Professional Experience: Robert is a principal with family-owned JHS Properties, a local Marin County based real estate investment firm that develops, owns, and manages office and industrial properties. Notable projects include the Autodesk World Headquarters, Bay Park Office Center, and San Rafael Airport, all located in San Rafael.

    Accomplishments/Community Service: Robert serves on the Operations Committee of the Marin Art & Garden Center.

    Other Volunteer Activities: Robert helps coach his son's and daughter’s local sports teams, and is an active participant (and current Chief) with his children in Indian Guides and Indian Princesses.

    Chamber of Commerce Role: Robert is on the San Rafael Board of Directors and is Vice Chair of Economic Sustainability, overseeing the Green Business, Education, and Economic Vitality Committees.

    Professional Duties: Stephanie is President and Managing Partner of Cal-Pox, GSG Partners and Sonoma Bell Associates, all based in San Rafael, California.  Major tenants include Target, Home Depot, Pier 1 Imports, Sonnen BMW and Marin Honda. Stephanie has been principal in the development of these businesses from the ground up.  Most recently, she secured all entitlements in a contentious, seven-year battle to build a Target at the Shoreline Center, owned by Cal-Pox, in San Rafael.  The Center is a 39-acre former landfill.  Stephanie manages not only the real estate development at the Center but also the environmental and regulatory requirements at both the County and State level.

    Professional Experience: Stephanie has a Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and a Master’s degree from San Francisco State University, both in Communications. Prior to her real estate career, Stephanie was a television producer and reporter for the NBC affiliate in San Francisco. Stephanie has been in the real estate industry since 1999.

    Accomplishments/Community Service: In addition to the Chamber Board and the Marin Forum, Stephanie actively supports San Rafael Pacifics, the Tam Valley and Bahia Vista PTA, and she was formerly on the Board of Artworks Downtown. She helps direct a donor advised fund with the Marin Communtiy Foundation on behalf of her grandfather, Martin Bramante.

    Professional Duties: Develop and implement effective Government Relations strategies to support Marin/Napa projects, including local agency outreach and permit support. Coordinate with local public works, city manager, elected officials and PG&E field teams, providing regular updates on upcoming work. Provide support for the field representatives on various projects or issues. Work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders at all levels and positions.

    Professional Experience: Mark began his career in Sacramento working in broadcast news and media relations for Office of the State Controller.  Mark moved back to his Sonoma and Napa home counties where, from 1995 to 2013, he focused on public relations, marketing, events, sales, and local government issues in the wine industry.

    Accomplishments/Community Service: Elected to Napa City Council in 2005 and re-elected in 2008, Mark promoted energy conservation, green building practices, Napa's "Dangerous Dog Ordinance", and worked with neighborhood leaders for improved pedestrian and bicycle safety.  Mark was appointed by City of Napa Mayor to serve six years on Napa Sanitation District Board of Directors.  Prior to his service on Napa City Council, Mark served three years as an appointee to Napa County Drug and Alcohol Advisory Board and in 2004 was appointed to City of Napa Planning Commission.

    Chamber of Commerce Role: After serving one year with the Government Affairs Committee, this is Mark’s first year serving as a Board of Director.

    Professional Experience: Joanne was appointed May 1st as the new President and CEO by the Board of Directors after serving as Director of Marketing and Community Promotion since 2011. For the past two decades, Joanne has been a strong advocate for local businesses. She has over 20 years experience in small business as the sole proprietor of Double Rainbow Cafe, San Rafael and 10 years experience in downtown business management as the Director of the San Rafael Business Improvement District.

    Other Volunteer Activities: Joanne is a member of the Marin Forum Board of Directors, Marin Convention and Visitors Bureau Board, Workforce Development Board and the San Rafael Rotary Club.

    Chamber of Commerce Role (Director, Committee work, etc.): Responsible to Board for implementation and execution of the Chamber's Business Plan. Joanne is the staff liaison to the Governmental Affairs Committee and the Economic Vitality Committee.

    Education: Joanne has a degree from Boston College with a focus in Mathematics and Computer Science. She is a San Rafael Leadership Institute graduate and currently pursuing an Accredited Chamber Executive credential from the Western Association of Chamber Executives.

    Personal Information: Joanne is the recipient of two Spirit of Marin awards (1998 & 2008) as the owner of Double Rainbow Cafe along with her talented husband of 29 years, Charlie Garfink. Together they are raising two brillant and beautiful daughters, Anna (22) and Meghan (18). She likes mountain biking, hiking and her favorite "holiday" is the last day of school.
