WE HAVE MOVED TO SAN RAFAEL: OUR FOREVER HOME!
Advanced Hyperbaric Recovery is incredibly excited to announce our move to San Rafael! Located at the corner of Irwin and Mission Streets, our newly designed, award-winning facility is ready to care for our beautiful community. We can hardly express enough gratitude for everyone who made this move possible!
Advanced Hyperbaric Recovery is a physician-referred, outpatient rehabilitation facility that specializes in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). HBOT is used in treating patients that have lingering or persistent health problems. It can also treat those with sub-clinical illnesses who do not need hospitalization but are simply too ill to allow for a true quality of life. There have been 13 conditions approved by the FDA for hyperbaric treatment including:
- Air or gas embolism
- Acute traumatic ischemia
- Acute anemia
- Carbon monoxide poisoning
- Compromised skin flaps
- Cyanide poisoning
- Decompression sickness
- Gas gangrene
- Necrotizing infections
- Radiation effects
- Some cases of osteomyelitis
- Non-healing wounds
- Thermal/extensive burns
The health and well-being of our community is of absolute importance to us which is why we designed our new location with them in mind. We have always been a recognized Bay Area Green Business, but our new location has even more eco-friendly health features. After years of proudly serving the Marin community, we have decided to broaden our field of care, and soon we will be accepting Medicare clients. Many of our clients are individuals who are disabled, retired or indigent and only have Medicare to rely on, so becoming Medicare certified has become a priority of ours.
We are working to support our incredible referring physicians and the medical community in Marin. By providing research, protocols, case studies and onsite CEU continuing education in Hyperbaric Medicine our goal is to always work in conjunction with traditional medical care as an adjunct to the wonderful work they do.
