Women's History Month - Luncheon Tickets On Sale NOW
Dear Viewer,
Happy Women’s History Month! This March, as we take this time to celebrate the incredible achievements of women throughout history, we at Center for Domestic Peace (C4DP) are reminded of the ongoing fight for justice and equality that persists today. Our organization stands as a powerful symbol of the progress made through the women's movement and our unwavering commitment to end violence against women.
Founded on the principles of activism and empowerment, C4DP is dedicated to creating a world where all individuals can live free from fear and violence. However, as we reflect on our journey, we recognize that the challenges we face now echo the struggles of those who came before us. The hard-earned gains of the past are currently under threat, as we witness attempts to roll back vital protections and resources for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
In this critical moment, it is essential that we reaffirm our dedication to the values of the women's movement. This month, we not only celebrate our past victories but also acknowledge the ongoing battles that require our collective action. We must continue to advocate for comprehensive support services for survivors, raise awareness about the realities of domestic violence, and push for legislative reforms that safeguard women's rights.
That’s why we need your support now more than ever. We invite you to join us for a special event In Celebration of Mothers with Dr. Loretta Ross, whose powerful words will inspire us and invigorate our efforts in these challenging times. You can learn more about her impactful work by clicking on the link below.
Additionally, as we all continue to grapple with understanding the impact of the current administration's policies, it’s crucial to remain aware of how these changes affect our communities. Many individuals are feeling the repercussions directly and indirectly, and it is during these times of uncertainty that we must draw strength from the advocates of the past. Their unwavering courage and commitment to justice inspire us to persevere and continue the work that is vital for the safety and empowerment of all individuals. Together, we can navigate these challenges and strive for a future where everyone is valued and protected.
Let’s stand together in solidarity, ensuring that the legacy of the women's movement is not only preserved but also strengthened in the face of adversity. Together, we can continue the fight against violence and discrimination, fostering a future where every individual is valued, respected, and safe.
Thank you for being an essential part of this journey. We look forward to your support and hope to see you at our upcoming celebration.
With gratitude,
Tara Peterson
