Marin Advances to Yellow Tier
With its improving
COVID-19 figures, Marin County is graduating from orange Tier 3 status to yellow Tier 4, which means more reopening of the economy and another step toward pre-pandemic normalcy.
The
Marin County Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) was notified June 1 that the
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is moving the county from “moderate risk” to a more open “minimal risk” based on steadily reduced case rates. The CDPH’s announcement
is online. Marin had been in the orange tier
since March 24.
