    Julie Parsons Promoted to Training and Development Manager at Redwood Credit Union
    Parsons to deliver staff training and leadership development
     
    Santa Rosa, CA – Julie Parsons has been promoted to the position of training and development manager for Redwood Credit Union (RCU). In her new role, she will evaluate and improve individual and organizational performance, develop and deliver training solutions, and ensure training is aligned with the strategic goals of the credit union.
     
    Parsons joined RCU in 2018 as assistant training manager. Before that, she worked in the mortgage and technology industries for 18 years as training director for a national company and at Intuit as a learning solutions manager supporting 3,000 customer care agents across the globe.
     
    “Julie has a proven track record of designing and executing learning solutions that engage users and drive business results,” says Kristina Derkos, senior vice president of people. “She’s an effective leader, skilled at managing strategic initiatives and cross-functional teams. We’re thrilled to have her on our team.”

    Parsons has a Bachelor of Arts degree and teaching credential from Sonoma State University. She’s currently living in Healdsburg while rebuilding the family home that was lost to fire in 2017.
