HomeWell Care Services, a national leading home care company, is proud to announce the celebration of its 10-year anniversary in the north bay. Since its opening in 2013, HomeWell has been committed to excellence, service, and client satisfaction, and this milestone marks a momentous journey of growth and success.
Marin County’s “Age Forward” Plan identified that about 28% of Marin residents are 60 years old or older, a figure 10% higher than the average California county. That percentage is expected to eclipse this one-third threshold by 2025 and grow to an estimated 38% by 2030. The County also estimates that half of older adults need assistance at some point, resulting in a need for more services from government, agencies, nonprofits, friends, and family. At the same time, Marin is ranked No. 1 on the list of California’s healthiest counties, resulting in people living longer lives.
This ”Silver Tsunami” is making landfall, and HomeWell Care Services is facing these challenges by providing trusted and compassionate personal care and companionship to help seniors and homebound individuals live safely, healthily, and comfortably at home.

Together, they’ve applied decades of both business and personal family caregiving experiences to continue helping their community members maintain their independence and happiness in the comfort of their own homes. Co-Owners, Leslie Reese and Carolyn Tucker, grew up on vineyards in Lodi, California and then attended high school at San Domenico in San Anselmo. After remaining close friends over the years, they joined forces in 2013 to share their expertise and empathy with their community. HomeWell is an active member of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce and their Health and Wellness Resource Committee. Carolyn serves on the Board of the Marin County Section on Aging and is the current President of the Marin Home Care Association.
