    Office Technology
    The following courses prepare you to work as a business office worker.
    Intro to Computers, Operating Systems, Windows & Google Apps (5 units total)
    Receive job-readiness skills in Business Office Technology by completing these three short courses in 12 weeks. You will learn about the hardware, operating systems and application software, as well as how to use Google Apps to make you successful in a business environment. Suggested experience in MS Excel and Word.  Expect to work 10-11 hours a week on this certificate.
    Required courses for certificate: CIS 101, CIS 111 and CIS 126
     
    Microsoft Word Beginning & Intermediate (3 units total)
    Get a fast-track Microsoft Certification in Word for Windows by developing beginning and intermediate skills in creating, formatting, saving and printing letters, memos, reports, tables and mail merge. Cost of Microsoft exam included. Expect to work 8-9 hours per week on this certificate.
    Required courses for exam preparation: CIS 102 and CIS 103
     
    Microsoft Excel Beginning & Intermediate (3 units total)
    Get a fast-track Microsoft Certification in Excel for Windows by developing beginning and intermediate skills in spreadsheet design for accounting and business applications. The intermediate course includes use of program codes to manipulate data to meet management, marketing and other business needs. Cost of Microsoft exam included. Expect to work 8-9 hours per week on this certificate.
