Caltrans and TAM, in cooperation with Marin County, the City of Larkspur, and the Town of Corte Madera, will host an open house and public hearing on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, to solicit comments on the draft environmental document for the Highway 101 Greenbrae/Twin Cities Corridor Improvement Project.
Public Hearing Details
The open house and public hearing will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the Redwood High School cafeteria, located at 395 Doherty Drive in Larkspur from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A brief presentation will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by a facilitated public comment session. Participants will have the opportunity to:
· Review updated information on the proposed project
· Provide public comments on the findings presented in the DED
· Learn about schedule and next steps
Review the Environmental Document:
In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Draft Environmental Document (DED) assesses the environmental impacts associated with construction and operation of the proposed project. Per CEQA/NEPA requirements, the DED is available for public review for sixty (60) days, beginning December 17, 2012. Public comments must be received by Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 5:00 p.m.
