    The Great Checks and Wineries event is an annual black tie affair will feature the finest fare from 25 North Bay Area restaurants and beverages from 25 area wineries and breweries. The event featrues wine and food appetizers, a sitdown dinner, silent auction, entertainment (inculding a surprise musical guest) and much more.  Great Chefs & Wineries benefits Lifehouse, a nonprofit agency serving over 200individuals with developmental disabilities in Marin, Sonoma and San Francisco Counties since 1954.
