with the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce for
"Cuisine for the Team!"our multi-restaurant fundraiser where individuals/families can dine out and a
percentage of the sales will be donated to our program!33% at Il Davide
33% at Amici's East Coast Pizzeria
25% at Extreme Pizza and Double Rainbow
18% at Lotus Cuisine of India and Lotus Chaat and Spices
10% at Bangkok Thai Express and Yetwah
Donation Meters 
Put your change to work and help reduce panhandling! Downtown Streets Team and the City of San Rafael are teaming up to reduce panhandling downtown. San Rafael is filled with compassionate people who want to help those less fortunate. But giving change on the street actually reinforces panhandling. Instead, we are asking our citizens to Put Their Change To Work by using the new purple donation meters that will be located throughout our downtown.
Put Your Change to Work has two goals:- Reduce panhandling by encouraging people to give to a nearby meter instead of on the street.
- Support Downtown Streets Team and give panhandlers a dignified alternative so they can gain access to their basic needs.
