A PUBLIC RELATIONS, INFLUENCER AND SOCIAL MEDIA PRIMER
Please join the San Rafael Chamber for an informative session about public relations, influencer relations and social media with Sarah Segal, the founder, and CEO of Segal Communications. Sarah’s team represents countless Bay Area businesses, including many in the North Bay, such as Johnny Doughnuts, Henhouse Brewing Company, Anaba Winery, and the newly opened San Rafael co-working space AvantSpace. Her agency also works with a bevy of technology companies and is working on a number of large conferences including the APEC conference. During this session, Sarah will offer advice on doing your own PR, getting started with an agency, how much it costs, and insights into the media landscape. As a former reporter with KRON 4, Sarah has a holistic perspective of the communications industry. Attendees who are not ready to hire a professional just yet will walk away with a template for drafting a home-grown communications plan, resources for building their profile in the media, and strategies for developing a great elevator pitch that resonates with the media.
