SAN ANSELMO, CA (July 16, 2018) Lynn Rovelstad, the owner of the I Made it Glass Creations© Art Studio in San Rafael, CA is delighted to announce that July 21, 2018 (S) will mark the second anniversary of the opening of her art studio. In honor of this achievement, Lynn and her entire team will be hosting a fabulous anniversary celebration between 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Anyone from the community is invited to stop by to make a free glass refrigerator magnet, receive 20% off all fused class art projects which include instruction, enjoy food and beverages, participate in a spin the wheel game for great prizes, and enter into the grand prize drawing to win a $100 gift certificate.

As a professional artist who loves making fused glass art, it had been a long time dream of Lynn Rovelstad’s to open a relaxing drop-in art studio where anyone, regardless of experience and age, could learn how to design and create beautiful fused glass art. Since opening the doors to her studio almost two years ago, Lynn’s business has grown and expanded in scope. The I Made it Glass Creations© Art Studio now offers art classes for all ages and experience, fun kid birthday parties, summer camps, adult parties, homeschool art classes, team building events and after school enrichment classes. She purchased an additional large kiln now named “Sir Melts a Lot” to keep up with increased demand. In addition, the art studio now offers over 100+ fused glass art projects to fit every budget, and pop up art classes and parties, which can be brought to your location!

Giving back to the community is a special focus for Lynn and her staff. They regularly make donations to charities and schools and donate their time and materials on special art projects, including the recent glass curtain children’s project in partnership with Mill Valley Recreation.

When someone asks Lynn what is the best part of her job, she always tells them, it’s the reveal when a client picks up their beautiful artwork and she gets to see the joy on their faces – it’s as if they can’t believe they actually made it. Now you know how owner Lynn Rovelstad came up with the name for the art studio!
