    As you are well aware, California's crumbling infrastructure is one of the top issues facing North Bay communities.
     

    That's why we're working towards a long term solution that will provide cities, counties and the State with desperately needed resources to start digging out of the massive deferred maintenance backlog that’s impacting our local roads, streets and highway system.

    We're bringing together state and local transportation leaders to answer your questions about the challenges and solutions regarding California's crumbling infrastructure.

    California Transportation Funding Overview: Malcolm Dougherty, Director of CalTrans and Susan Bransen, Executive Director of the California Transportation Commission

    • How California funds infrastructure maintenance and expansion for highways, bridges, roads and streets
    • Current funding sources: What works, where are the challenges
    • Briefing on funding proposals from the Governor and Legislature
    • A look ahead to the future

    Briefing from regional and local transportation leaders including: Transportation Authority of Marin, Sonoma County Transportation Authority, Marin and Sonoma County Public Works Departments and CalTrans

    • They'll provide a brief overview of their agencies and their roles in the regional and local transportation world, current funding/infrastructure challenges, recent progress made and a look ahead
