    This hands-on workshop will take an in-depth look into the two most popular crowdfunding platforms: Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Learn how each platform works, best practices and common mistakes. We'll review several recent successful campaigns to learn their secrets as well as discuss common reasons why campaigns don't meet their funding goals. We'll also have a chance to review several current campaigns and you can vote on which campaign you'd fund and why - the results may just surprise you. You’ll walk away with tips and knowledge of how Kickstarter or Indiegogo could help you raise from $1,000 to $100,000 or more for your new product or idea. 

    Instructor Paul Bozzo is a scalable entrepreneurial and technology ventures expert in the San Francisco Bay Area. Paul’s background blends over 25 years of professional experience in start-up strategy, angel and venture capital financing, strategic planning and SBA lending.
