About Us

Serenity Knolls Treatment Center is a premier residential addiction treatment program located in the peaceful San Geronimo Valley of Marin County, California. Since 1990, Serenity Knolls has provided compassionate, evidence-based care for adults struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns.

Set on a private, scenic campus in Forest Knolls, our program provides a supportive environment where individuals can step away from the challenges of everyday life and focus fully on healing and recovery. Treatment is individualized to meet each client’s unique needs and may include detoxification, residential care, individual and group therapy, family support, experiential programming, medication management, and comprehensive discharge planning.

Our multidisciplinary team combines clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the recovery process, emphasizing dignity, connection, accountability, and long-term wellness. Serenity Knolls also offers continuing support through lifetime no-fee aftercare for eligible alumni, helping individuals remain connected to a strong recovery community long after residential treatment ends.
