Dominican University of California, Institute for Leadership Studies

The Institute for Leadership Studies (ILS) is a center of excellence in Dominican's Barowsky School of Business. In partnership with all of the University's academic schools, ILS is the center of leadership development on the Dominican campus. ILS sponsors a variety of programs and initiatives, including leadership education and research, executive education and consulting, public forums, and community service projects.

As a center for leadership training and development, our mission is to guide students, faculty, staff and community members to become better leaders by advancing the study, teaching, and practice of effective, ethical leadership. The Institute for Leadership Studies develops people to become better leaders.

Assisting businesses and organizations, students, faculty and community leaders, ILS programs apply rigor to value-added research, theory building, and real-life business practice. ILS facilitates positive individual, organizational, and social change, and promotes socially responsible leadership and civic engagement.
