NEED Executive Director, Jon Haveman, will introduce Veronika Dolar from SUNY Old Westbury, who will lead a discussion of the economics of healthcare policy in the United States. Dr. Dolar will introduce important concepts in the provision of healthcare and comparisons of the United States with other developed countries.

The national conversation often centers around misinformation about how the U.S. healthcare system performs relative to other countries. This conversation will attempt to discern some facts from hyperbole. This lecture is for anyone interested in healthcare, frustrated with the current system, or who would like to learn more about the real and actual American health care system.
Following a 45 minute presentation, Drs. Dolar and Haveman will take questions from the audience. The webinar is scheduled to last for 60 minutes.
