Excellence in Education Awards Ceremony

Please join us to celebrate and recognize eight outstanding educators in our community and say thank you for their continued support of our children.

The San Rafael Chamber Education Committee in collaboration with the Mill Valley Chamber have selected eight educators and will recognize all honorees at an Award Ceremony on Wednesday, April 26th The event is from 4:30-6pm. All honorees will receive a $500 check from Chamber business sponsors with a generous donation match from Redwood Credit Union! in appreciation of their outstanding and continuous service to our students.

Dr. David Wain Coon, President, College of Marin will be our host for the evening.

We will make a special acknowledgement at this event to retiring San Rafael City Schools Superintendent Jim Hogeboom for his remarkable job in the district.

The San Rafael Chamber Education Committee has honored over 125 deserving recipients with these awards over the past 24 years of sponsorship. The committee consists of education leaders from the San Rafael and Miller Creek School Districts, private schools, Dominican University and College of Marin. The business members include representatives from businesses with a long history of supporting education and individual members passionate about the interests of business and education.
