Mission Statement: The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce is a member-based business advocacy organization providing a strong voice in support of the economic vitality of our community.

THE SAN RAFAEL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

is an organization of businesses from San Rafael, Marin and the Bay Area working with local and regional officials, community organizations and chamber members to maintain San Rafael as a quality place to live and locate business. For more than 90 years the San Rafael Chamber has provided a focus for local business people to come together and link to the broader community. The Chamber is a non-profit membership organization governed by an active Board of Directors of nearly two dozen volunteer leaders and a professional staff of five.

The Chamber is a business advocate, maintaining active communication with government officials in order to keep current on policies and issues critical to a vital business climate. For more information on specific bills affecting business, go to Advocacy.

The Chamber supports actively, the advance of sustainable business practices.

Today

The Chamber's 600 members include small businesses, merchants and professionals, nationally recognized corporations, educational and health institutions, and community organizations.

The San Rafael Chamber is a 501c(6) corporation that was originally founded in 1920. The San Rafael Chamber has provided a legacy of leadership in San Rafael and Marin County for more than 90 years.
