City Design Review Board Agrees with Chamber on BioMarin/Whistlestop Project
On Tuesday night, the Design Review Board unanimously supported the BioMarin/Whistlestop project on the 3-acre site at 999 Third St., a former Pacific Gas and Electric Co. property. Several supporters including Chamber President & CEO, Joanne Webster testified in full support. “This is going to take San Rafael to a new level,” said Webster. “In addition to providing housing and economic benefits, it’s really going to beautify the downtown area.”
