Elks Benefit Concert for Ocean Voyages Institute Ocean Clean-Up Expedition

Celebrate the Holidays at the Elks mansion with delicious food, live music featuring the Flaming O's (Ultimate Party & Dance band), silent auction, raffle and more to benefit a worthy cause:  Ocean Voyages Institute is a Sausalito-based nonprofit with the mission of cleaning up the oceans one voyage at a time, collecting tons of consumer plastic debris and derelict fishing gear (ghost nets) from the Pacific Ocean and hauling it in to be recycled.  They have also developed floating electronic markers to attach to even more masses of plastic waste in the ocean to signal other clean up expeditions to go and collect.
