Construyendo Mi Negocio (Building My Business)

This is a special 10 series course for Spanish speaking natives who want to learn the fundamentals of starting or growing a business. All businesses welcome: food, tech, janitorial, real estate, child care, construction/engineering, consulting services, etc.

Instructor Luis Nanez studied Business Administration at San Marcos University in Lima-Peru and has been doing sales and small business work for more than 20 years. Business owner and entrepreneur himself for more than 17 years in the service industry, and real estate professional for more 14 years. He has shared his knowledge and experiences in classrooms all over the Bay Area, combining teaching, in a “business-like” setting, with emphasis in student participation, and a quote of good sense of humor. Students experience first-hand the excitement and reality of open their small business in the classroom, and learning the possible challenges and obstacles they might face running their own business, and how to avoid them.
